Fish (Canadian Fish, Literature, or Recollection) is a 6 player card game
played in two teams of three. Each team aims to score as many half-sets as
54 cards and 9 half-sets
The high sets: 9-A of each suit
The low sets: 2-7 of each suit
The jokers: the 4 8s and the two jokers
When it is your turn: ask a member of the opposing team for a card. You can
only ask for a card if you have a card in that half-set.
If you're right: you take the card from the other player. It's your turn
If you're wrong: its the other player's turn.
A player can declare at any point in the game if they think their team
has all six cards of a set.
This is the only way to score a point.
One player from the team must state exactly who on their team has which
card. If they are right, they get one point. Otherwise, the other team gets

In some variations of the game, players are not allowed to bluff by asking
for cards they already have. This form of bluffing is allowed on this
Sometimes, a player may declare when it is their turn and run out of cards.
The play then transfers to one of their teammates. In some variations, the
play must transfer in a specific direction. This website allows the player
to transfer to any teammate.
In one variation of the game, a player can transfer their turn over to a
teammate after declaring a set. This website allows players to transfer
turn to a teammate whenever they want (as long as it is their turn already)
to allow for all possible house rules.

Gather yo party: Get 5 friends to play the game. Hardest part
of the game. It is too easy to cheat in online Fish to be able to trust
strangers, so this website does not have a lobby system.
Get a code: Fill out the reCAPTCHA in the host tab.
Hopefully you're not a robot.
Then send the code to your friends.
Assign numbers: Give each a player a number. The game is odd players
versus even players. Player 1 always goes first. Can use RNG tab for
Joining a game: Join a game via the join tab. Can also spectate
and leave games (so someone else can hop in) through the join tab.
Screen name is optional for spectators. When a spectator watches a player,
the player is notified and their screen name revealed to the player if

Top Displays the game code, your player number, the game score, and
a list of declared sets.
Table Shows how many cards each player has. The current player is in
Card list Shows your cards.
Log Shows the last ask.
Declare Alert Quickly tell players that you are about to declare.

Asking for cards Click ask. To ask for a low heart, first click the
player you want
to ask. Then click one of your low hearts. Then click for the card you want
to ask for. Do
not be the person that asks the wrong player.
Declaring Select which set you want to declare, and then specify
which player has which card.
Transferring If it's your turn and you are out of cards, you can
transfer your turn to a teammate through the transfer button.
